This CLE program offers valuable insights into legislative priorities and key issues expected this session. A panel of distinguished speakers will discuss Topeka’s priorities, judicial and legislative agendas, and how attorneys can make a difference.

The TBA Legislative Session Overview will begin with a welcome and introduction, including opening remarks, an introduction of the panelists, and an overview of the session structure. The discussion will cover Topeka’s key priorities for the upcoming session and highlight other significant issues expected to arise. Panelists will address major topics anticipated before the House and Senate Judiciary Committees, sharing insights into committee priorities and how TBA members can engage and make an impact. The session will also include an overview of the Kansas Bar Association’s legislative priorities, the process of setting those priorities, and opportunities for TBA members to get more involved. The event will conclude with a wrap-up, a review of key discussion points, and an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and engage with the panelists.
