The CLE will address recent employment and labor law developments, including Human Resources compliance and documentation; changes and updates to applicable federal and state laws (i.e., the ADA and reasonable accommodations; the FLSA and its Final Rule concerning employee perks and benefits; the ADEA; and the KAAD); employee handbooks and the NLRA/NLRB; recruitment, hiring, background checks and terminations; social media expectations; and LGBTQ rights and protections in employment.  Current case law on pertinent issues and helpful forms and documentation will also be provided to assist attorneys with their law practices.
